This privacy policy applies to the apps created by Glenn Reid — GSDList, Clockwise, and Step Brother (the “Apps”). It explains what the Apps do and don’t do with your information.
The short version
The Apps are built to respect your privacy. They do not require an account, and they do not collect, transmit, sell, or rent your personal information. Everything the Apps work with stays on your device. There are no third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the Apps.
What each app accesses
- GSDList stores the tasks and lists you create on your device. Any location or keyword features operate locally on your device to organize your tasks and are not sent to me or to any third party.
- Clockwise simply displays the time on your Mac. It collects no personal information of any kind.
- Step Brother reads step and activity data from Apple Health (HealthKit), only with your explicit permission. It uses this data solely to calculate and display your averages, trends, and mileage.
Health data (Step Brother)
Step Brother accesses health and fitness data through Apple’s HealthKit framework only after you grant permission, and only to provide the app’s features. This health data is processed entirely on your device. It is never transmitted off your device, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or marketing. You can revoke Step Brother’s access to Health data at any time in the Settings app under Privacy & Security → Health.
Information I do not collect
The Apps do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics. There are no accounts to create, no third-party SDKs that track you, and no data is sold or shared.
Children
The Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13 and do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
